These 10 shops were nominated & voted Best Food Shops 2019. These Best Food Shops 2019 are outstanding in their field, offering a range of locally sourced goods, often organic. They are beautifully designed shops we enjoy visiting time and again. It’s such a pleasure to shop these stores and choose from their delicious offerings. This year’s Best Food Shops range from Bordeaux’s L’epicerie Le Local, located in a gorgeous historic building with architectural details left intact, to New York’s fantastic Union Square Green Market that brings local farm produce into the center of the city. In the past few months food shops around the globe have taken on a greater importance and role in our lives. They are supplying their local communities with essential food supplies and provisions. During this current pandemic they have adopted new strategies and business models to keep as many as possible fed. We would like to say a big “Thank you” for all your hard work and flexibility.
