Our favorite East Village shops in one of our favorite New York City neighborhoods. The vibrant East Village is home to many students and creatives which is evident in its interesting and colorful independent shop scene. Behind authentic shopfronts are a wonderful collection of stationery, vintage, home goods stores and more. Plus with lots of interesting cafes and restaurants the East Village is the perfect destination for an afternoon of wandering, exploring and shopping.

JOHN DERIAN COMPANY
6 – 10 East 2nd Street
Unique home goods shops featuring the designer’s decoupage plates, platters, paperweights and coasters which are all handmade in his New York studio. Alongside Derian’s designs there is a veritable treasure trove of decorative home objects, textiles and furniture.
