Established in 2018 by Sandeep Salter, founder of neighboring sister store, Picture Room , Salter House occupies a charming corner store in Brooklyn Heights. The shaker-like, simple interior with marble-topped bistro tables offer a place to sit and enjoy a tea, coffee and treat, that include vegan and gluten-free options.

Homewares include table linens, kitchen wares, and home decor items. The children's selection features clothing, toys, and gifts. Since opening in 2018, Salter House's clothing selection has expanded from white cotton nightwear to include day wear pieces designed by Sandeep and made in New York.
