Universal Providers by Kokon to Zai, a home decor store with a wonderfully eclectic mix of vintage, ethnic pieces, and art opened in 2008 by owners Marjan Pejoski and Sasko Bezovski. Building on the partners fashion label, Kokan to Zai, Japanese for " East meets West", some clothing pieces are available at Universal Providers.

Located on Golborne Road in a listed former 19th century grocery store with plenty of fabulous original details, particularly the decorative tile work that were made by H&R Johnson of Stoke-on-Trent. A marble and tiled counter runs the length of space, a tiled-arch payment booth at the rear, and the original fascia with the Universal Providers signage. All these details create a delightful backdrop for displaying the brands homeware and clothing.
