WHAT WE LOVE
The award-winning Store Yard boasts more than 25,000 square feet of architectural salvage, vintage, period, retro furniture and curios. Established in 2009 by antiques expert and former builder, David Keane, with a particular interest in Irish vernacular furniture and architectural salvage. Situated in an otherwise dreary Portlaoise business park the size and breadth of The Store Yard amazes visitors who discover fabulous large-scale salvage pieces, as well as period and retro curios, from taxidermy and chandeliers to vintage fashion and pictures.
A member of IADA (Irish Antique Dealers Association), David and the Store Yard's expert design team collaborate with architects and designers on residential and commercial projects. The Store Yard has supplied film and TV props to many notable productions including The Banshees of Inisherin, Little Women, The Widow, Penny Dreadful, and Ripper Street.
In 2021 The Store Yard opened a classic brick & mortar outpost in the charming town of Yoghal in County Cork.
