WHAT WE LOVE
Superstitch is a denim and repair shop founded by Arthur Leclerq in 2020. A denim aficionado, Leclerq passionate about authentic denim bought a 1940s chainstitch hemming machine and a vintage Singer sewing machine in 2016 launching Superstitch as denim repair and tailoring service. Services include hemming, inseam refits, and hole repair.
Superstitch has a collection of denim styles made in Japan, USA-made T-shirts, Canadian-made sweatshirts and their own brand of denim detergent for optimal denim cleaning.
"The machine we use at Superstitch for hemming, the Union Special 43200 G, was originally used in the levis’ factories in the 40’s/70’s. It has been out of production since the 80’s. The goal is to reproduce the quality of the best denim years."
