WHAT WE LOVE
Poilâne's world-renowned bakery was founded in the heart of Paris' Saint-Germain-des-Prés in 1932 by Pierre Poilâne. Today the founder's granddaughter, Apollonia Poilâne, is at the helm of the family business known for its trademark artisanal sourdough bread, and variety of breads, cookies, tarts, and pastries.
In 2000 a London outpost opened in Belgravia. The London bakery and shopfront serves the same delicious breads and baked goods as its Paris counterpart.
A third-generation family run business known for its trademark artisanal sourdough was established in Paris in 1932.
