Mexico In My Pocket is a gift shop in Brooklyn's Carroll Gardens neighborhood that shares the beauty of Mexican culture. Journalist and blogger Luisa Navarro started the brand in 2015 creating an Instagram account and blog that quickly garnered a loyal following, sharing Mexican recipes, stories, and travel content.

In 2020 after being furloughed, Luisa launched Mexico In My Pocket as an online store featuring Mexican artisan products. The success of the online shop led Luisa to open the pretty brick & mortar store in 2021. The pretty 150 square feet store with its painted shopfront and its colorful interior is filled with Mexican artisan goods. Best sellers include tin mirrors, paper flowers, huaraches, candles, jewelry, and cookbooks.

Mexico In My Pocket also offers travel services from group trips to itinerary planning.
