A former 1900s hardware store on Brooklyn's Grand Street is home to lifestyle shop, Leif. Founded in 2011 Stacy Longenecker, who for several years juggled a full time job as a copywriter whilst running her popular online store out of her home in her spare time. In 2016 the Brooklyn store opened becoming the main driver of the business. Leif is known for its assortment of home decor goods - many items being exclusive to the brand, including textiles, baskets, table ware, and artwork, as well as a selection of stationery, apothecary, and gifts.

The store in Williamsburg has many original details such as the beautiful wooden shopfront, display window, and tin ceiling. Over the years the shop has being extended through a pretty archway at the rear of the shop space.
