General Store showcases a stunning mix of handcrafted homeware, clothing and accessories, jewelry, books, art, food items, and gifts from local artists and crafts people. Founded in San Francisco in 2009 by artist Serena Mitnik-Miller and designer Mason St. Peter, followed by a second location in Venice in 2012.

Both stores feature simple yet striking details, large round shapes echoed in mirrors, archways, and displays offset by warm-wood shelving and plants. The goods possess a natural, tactile character in a muted color palette.
