WHAT WE LOVE
B Southgate is antique furniture and home decor shop with a focus on pieces dating from 1900 to 1950. Located in a charming courtyard off Columbia Road, next door to cake shop Lily Vanilli , B Southgate opened in 2003. Owner Ben Southgate spent more than a decade as a furniture restorer before opening his own business and shop. He sources pieces from Europe, primarily France, Germany, The Netherlands and the Czech Republic and restores them himself in his workshop. Specialties include filing and storage cabinets, leather sofas and armchairs, anglepoise lamps, anatomical charts, and vintage toys.
