Wanderlust & Whiskey

There is an amazing creative community that contribute to The Shopkeepers. Most notably the photographers that generously share their images here, on The Shopkeepers website, and on our Instagram account. We realize that there is no way we can share all the lovely shops that exist in the world without the talented community of photographers that contribute to our platform. So we are honoring those creatives by highlighting photographers in this new series. We love following photographer Jessica Pineda aka Wanderlust & Whiskey , who frequently shares her work on our Instagram feed.

Jessica, based in Denver, works in digital marketing, and as evident on her Instagram feed loves to travel. Her favorite whiskey at the moment is Aberfeldy Single Malt, though she doesn’t share her thoughts on whiskey on Instagram as she had originally planned. Jessica’s favorite destinations are the UK and the East Coast. Capturing cities brings her joy and stress relief, and is her main escape from the day to day. She enjoys seeing how other people capture storefronts and cities as everyone has a unique eye. Jessica notes that “it’s a great way to gain perspective and Inspiration”.

Bookshops are Jessica’s absolute favorite shops. Which explains why she has a second account dedicated to them _wanderlustbookclub . Here she shares favorite bookstores and libraries from around the world, along with a good reads link to her favorite books.
