There is nothing basic about A Design&Life Project store in Taipei, even though it may sell many of life's necessities it offers beautifully crafted supplies in a carefully curated space. A Design&Life Project was established in 2015 by Xu Boxuan and Chen Yinwen, who both studied visual design and fashion brand management in New York. On their return to Taipei in 2004 they launched an online lifestyle magazine that inspired them to open a brick & mortar store.

The store is located on the second floor above their coffee shop, Twatutia. Both the spaces have been outfitted with a vintage look. The founders have worked with heritage companies to offer well crafted goods for everyday use. There is a range of goods from home decor and small furniture items to stationery and hardware.
