There are several enchanting towns such as, Saint-Martin-de-Ré, La Flotte, Ars-en-Ré, and Les Portes-en-Ré, each with its own delightful shops and markets.
Colorful hollyhocks and vines climbing facades, and often display their wares outside inviting customers inside. These are some of the charming shops of Île de Ré I discovered on a recent visit. Once again proving that it is the local merchants that maintain the character and allure of diverse destinations.
