There is an amazing creative community that contribute to The Shopkeepers. Most notably the photographers that generously share their images here, on The Shopkeepers website, and on our Instagram account. We realize that there is no way we can share all the lovely shops that exist in the world without the talented community of photographers that contribute to our platform. So we are honoring those creatives by highlighting photographers in a new series. First up is The September Chronicles.
The September Chronicles are Simon & Jen, Aussie high school sweethearts that first visited London on their honeymoon. Love at first sight meant that The September Chronicles have now made their home in North London. Simon works in IT and Jen is an artist, their combined talents have created a beautiful website of the same name, chronicling their adventures in and around London and further afield.
They shoot their images on an old Sony alpha camera complete with kit lens or their phones and edit using Lightroom. Proof that it’s possible to create beautiful images without fancy equipment. Shared here are some of their bookshop, flower & plant shop, coffee & tea shop and food shop captures. Just a small sample from their inspiring account.
