Serendipity Delhi is a lifestyle and concept shop located in a rustic village on the outskirts of Delhi. Founder Kuldeep Kaur established Serendipity in 2014, after restoring a dilapidated haveli along with her brother and partner. The restored haveli is filled with a unique mix of homeware, furniture, textiles, antiques and one-of-a-kind pieces.

The Haveli, a traditional home, has an expansive, lush, central courtyard surrounded by large airy rooms, offering visitors an oasis of calm and peace. Inspired by Riads of Marrakech and Essouria, Kuldeep chose mint green window frames, and pressed blue glass window panes against white walls, a color scheme which is now a signature look of the shop. There is a beautiful assortment of furniture, textiles, antiques, and unique finds. All the textiles and furniture are designed and produced in-house. The look is “Mughal meets Morocco via Mexico City”. A destination store, Serendipity has a rooftop cafe with gorgeous views of the historic Mehrauli area. 

Kuldeep Kaur has combined her love of travel and more than fifteen years designing textiles into her exquisitely curated lifestyle shop, Serendipity Delhi. She loves creating and sourcing unique products, and creatively displaying and merchandising the space. The shop has allowed Kuldeep to meet and connect with a global community of creative people from different walks of life – be it design, fashion, photography, theater, literature, or performing arts.
