Plant the Future is a nature inspired design company with shops in the Wynwood Art District in Miami and at the 1 Hotel, South Beach. Owner and artist Paloma Teppa believes in enabling people to enjoy greenery in dense urban environments. She works with succulents, orchids and incorporates whimsical animal figurines and sculptures to create living works of art. She creates artful terrariums, dioramas and dramatic living plant installations such as the 20’ x 30’ moss mural of a swimmer in the lobby of the 1 Hotel.
Miami based artist, Paloma Teppa, studied industrial design in her native Cordoba, Argentina followed by Fine Arts at The Accademia Di Belle Arti in Torino, Italy. She admires the work of Miami landscape architect Matthew Lewis, and is inspired by Daniel Arsham and Etienne Russo. Paloma combines elements of design, architecture, art, and nature with a fresh and unique vision.
On Planting the Future
