  • The famous Chelsea Flea Market which closed at the end of 2019 after four decades of business is coming back. Under new management by the founders of Brooklyn Flea and Smorgasborg, Chelsea Flea which will reopen in April. Find it in its original location at an 29 West 25th Street.
  • Helen Levi’s next ceramic studio open date is February 8th in Ridgewood, Queens. Purchase some pots and check out Helen’s neighborhood recommendations here.
  • We are big fans or RW Guild and Roman and Williams projects, so Veronika is on our list of new spaces to visit.
  • We’re looking forward to the reveal of newly expanded Leif in Williamsburg.
  • Nordstrom has hopped on the repurposing trend launching a resale shop See You Tomorrow. Merchandise is selected from Nordstrom’s returns.
  • Phoenicia Flea returns to Empire Stores, Brooklyn Sunday February 23rd.
  • The Strand Book Store is opening on the UWS. Opening in March The Strand will be at 450 Columbus Avenue in the former Book Culture space.
  • Interesting Podcast listening on the resurgence of Indie Bookshops and tips for all retailers here
  •  La Soufflerie, makers of handblown vessels from recycled glass, has opened a boutique at 26 rue Lacourbe, Paris.
  • The Plastic Bag Store – a Times Square Pop-up Grocery Shop where everything is made out of single-use plastic. March 18 – April 12
