Christmas 2020 Shopfronts

I love to discover Christmas 2020 shopfronts as I walk around New York City this time of year. The holiday season is such a magical time of year in the city. The smell of fresh spruce from the sidewalk Christmas tree stands and the bare-leaved trees wrapped with twinkly lights. The whole city looks splendid in its holiday decorations. Though this Christmas is very different to other years. An appointment is necessary to view the noble tree at Rockefeller Plaza towering over socially distanced skaters. Likewise many stores require appointments to shop, eventhough most people are shopping online. Still, I love to stroll the charming streets of the East and West Village because it’s so cheery to see the festively decorated townhouses and shops. I always think it’s fun to see how shopkeepers decorate their storefronts, whether it’s a coffee shop or a butcher shop.
